Lifetime Care for your Pet Companions
In today's economy, we especially appreciate and respect your trust as well as your commitment to your four-footed companions!
Westlake Animal Hospital is known for our cutting-edge and progressive techniques in medicine and surgery. Minimally invasive medicine and surgery such as laparoscopic spay and gastropexy, endoscopy and rhinoscopy, as well as advanced dental procedures such as root canal, pulpotomy, and restoration are all available here. We are also part of a growing number of animal hospitals in the nation that perform comprehensive semi-annual wellness exams.
Our patient base is dogs and cats. We do ask that you call for an appointment so that you are scheduled and will not have a long wait for your appointment.
Above all else, we at Westlake Animal Hospital pride ourselves on our open door policy. Our open door policy means that we feel there is no reason why you should have to be separated from your animal at any time. Therefore we offer pet owners the option to stay and watch their pet's surgery or dental procedure. Also, most outpatient treatments are done in the exam room while you are present.
You are welcome to visit your animal while it is being hospitalized for surgery or in the case that it is ill (except for transmittable diseases such as Parvo virus, etc.) at any time.
If you have any questions about the services we offer such as surgeries or wellness exams, please contact us at (440) 835-3800 or e-mail to westlakeah@aol.com.

Please continue using your flea protection throu
gh November and heartworm prevention all year.
Fleas become very aggressive in the Fall because they want to spend the Winter in your house. They will climb on shoes and clothing (they love light colors), hoping you have a nice warm dog or cat meal at home for them.
Check out the American Animal Hospital Association's website for more information, and schedule an appointment with us to keep our furry friends protected! We are still running the buy-five-get-one-free Special Offer on Frontline and Revolution. The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) has a great website www.petsandparasites.org with educational information on various parasites and how to prevent them.
Should you buy pet health insurance? MSN Money has an interesting article on potential costs associated with keeping our pets healthy.
